Curious how to make your own baked goods, and pastries from scratch?

Aspiring bakers who love to get their hands dirty in the kitchen will love our Basic Training Baking Boot Camp! Young chefs will learn the basics of scratch baking everything from breads, to fresh pastas, to muffins, to cookies, and more! While we will bake using our portable cooking tools in class, all recipes can be recreated at home in your oven for more baking fun! Young chefs will love creating sweet and savory baked goods in this tasty, fun camp!

Basic Training Baking Boot Camp Recipe Teasers:

  • Crispy (cheesy) Corn Dog Bites on a Stick + Honey Mustard Dip + Summer Garden Pickles + Fresh Frozen Lemonade 
  • Supreme Sour Cream Cardamom Pear Cupcakes + Indian Sweetly Spiced Glaze + Chilled Chai Pear Lassi 
  • Mexican Enchilada Cups + Kid-made Refried Black Beans + Sweet Pea Guacamole + Melon Agua Fresca
  • Fruity French Turnovers (Chausson aux Pommes) + Citron Crème Glacée + Sparkling Apple Cider

Each class day features two amazing recipes, fun food experiments, and activities. Students will love to create (and eat!) while learning safe cooking skills, math, food culture, science, geography, and more!

Sticky Fingers Cooking has taught in-person and online cooking classes to over 50,000 children (and counting) since 2012. Our talented and experienced chef instructors join groups of children virtually while everyone remains in the safety and comfort of their own homes. A recipe with a shopping list, equipment checklist, food allergy guide, and video collection is included for participating families.
