Serving with Purpose: Alli Doyle’s Transition from Military Service to Sticky Fingers Cooking®

  • Why did the meatball join the army?To become a major flavor!

This Veterans’ Day, we’re thrilled to share the incredible journey of Alli Doyle, a veteran, mother, and the first franchise owner of Sticky Fingers Cooking® in Austin, TX. After finishing her service with the Marines, Alli’s love of food and cooking led her to enroll in a culinary program at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, Texas. (Note: you don’t need a degree from Le Cordon Bleu to join our team!) After sharing her talents on the Sticky Fingers Cooking team for five years, advancing from chef instructor to director of party and private events to area director, she knew the company inside and out. So, when franchise opportunities became available, she leaped at the chance.

Alli's move from military service to franchise leader has been natural. In the military, she honed her strategic planning skills, sense of purpose, and unwavering commitment to her team. Today, she uses these qualities successfully running 75 kids’ cooking classes per week in the Austin area.

Alli shares, “My time in the military taught me the value of working as a team. My team of chef instructors along with my admin team is so important to our company’s success. We wouldn’t be able to bring so many amazing classes to our students without every member of our team doing the best they can.”

Erin Fletter, CEO of Sticky Fingers Cooking®, hopes to welcome more veterans like Alli into the franchise family. “Veterans bring unique strengths in leadership and discipline to the business world, Erin says, “They have dedicated themselves to serving our country, and now they can continue their legacy in their own communities. Teaching kids the joy of cooking creates lasting, positive impacts on young lives. We are incredibly excited to support and collaborate with more veterans – they have so much to offer!”

This Veterans’ Day, as we honor Alli Doyle for her service and her pioneering role in the Sticky Fingers Cooking® franchise family, we extend our deepest gratitude to all veterans for their strength, sacrifices, and contributions.
