THIS RECIPE REQUIRES A MICROWAVE
INGREDIENTS:
Cinnamon Roll Dutch Baby A la Mode
- 1 tsp butter*
- 1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 T room temperature coconut cream*
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 T all-purpose flour*
- 1⁄4 tsp baking powder
- 1 small scoop vanilla ice cream* (optional)
Coco Loco Drizzle
- 1⁄2 tsp maple syrup or pinch of sugar
- 1 T coconut cream*
Cinn-a-Yummy Cozy Cocoa
- 1 T maple syrup
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1⁄4 to 1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1⁄8 tsp vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 C water
- 1⁄4 C room temperature coconut cream*
Cool Ranch Dip
- Pinch fresh chopped or dried parsley or dried dill
- 1 lemon
- 2 T full-fat Greek yogurt*
- Pinch garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp water
- Optional: tiny pinch of sugar
Kid Chef’s Choice of the following veggies for “Crudite:”
- Baby carrots or carrot chips (4-5)
- Celery stalks (1-2)
- 1 mini cucumber or ¼ large cucumber
- Cherry tomatoes (3-5)
- Red radishes (1-2)
- Jicama sticks (2-3)
- Red, orange, or yellow bell pepper (½)
- Mini sweet peppers (3-5)
ALLERGY SUBSTITUTIONS (for those items with a *)
BUTTER: Sub vegan butter alternative (such as Earth Balance) or olive oil
COCONUT: Sub heavy cream OR full-fat yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
GLUTEN (FLOUR): Sub gluten-free flour blend with xanthan gum
DAIRY (YOGURT): Sub non-dairy yogurt or sour cream alternative
DAIRY (ICE CREAM): Sub non-dairy ice cream
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
- Microwave
- 2 Microwave-safe mugs
- Small bowl (cereal bowl works)
- Citrus zester or box grater with small zesting holes
- Metal spoon
- Fork
- Cutting board
- Whisk
- Can opener
- Potholder
- Paper towel or dish towel
- Measuring spoons
- Kid-friendly knife (a butter knife works great)
- Soap for cleaning hands
