Recipe: Horton Hears a Corn Arepas + Awesome Avocado Salsa
Join us and hear the story of Horton the Elephant and his treacherous adventures saving Whoville, a tiny planet located on a small speck of dust, from the evil animals who mock him. These animals attempt to steal and burn the speck of dust, so Horton goes to great lengths to save Whoville from being incinerated. After reading the story, we will create a scumptious recipe that Horton would love!

Let your favorite books come to life in the kitchen! In our Cooks + Books series, we’ll read our favorite books and cook up recipes inspired by the story within. Young chefs will spark their imaginations in this hands-on literary and culinary experience!
COOK UP SOME FUN WITH US!
Sticky Fingers Cooking has taught in-person and online cooking classes to over 50,000 children (and counting) since 2012. Our talented and experienced chef instructors join groups of children virtually while everyone remains in the safety and comfort of their own homes. A recipe with a shopping list, equipment checklist, food allergy guide, and video collection is included for participating families.
