What! November already?! It seems like we say that whenever every new month appears. Now that we are in November, we feel like it’s officially time to break out the Pumpkin Pie Spice.

These bite-sized Pumpkin Pie French Toast Sticks are the best of everything we love to cook right now: breakfast for dinner, finger-foods, and warming fall spices. The history of Pain Perdu has humble beginnings. Like many recipes we love, French Toast was created to make use of stale bread! Pain Perdu translates to “lost bread.” Back in the medieval times when bread was baked less frequently, it would become hard faster. During these times, people would find creative uses for foods, doing whatever they could to avoid wasting food. In fact, wasting food wasn’t ever an option!

We have the brilliant minds of people from leaner times to thank for this delicious recipe we all know and love today, as well as all of the equipment we’re using to cook up the recipes. Wishing a month full of joy and good food to you and yours. Happy Thanksgiving Month!
