Welcome back to the kitchen! It’s a fresh year and we’re excited for you and your kid chefs to whip up some fresh and cozy flavors starting with this sweet treat. What do you get when you pair one of the most well-known Swedish pastries with a lesser known American invention that was inspired by a German pancake? This mug cake has all the flavors and texture of a cinnamon roll and dutch baby combined. A traditional dutch baby looks like a giant popover. It’s not possible to make a true popover in the microwave - we tried! - but the end result is slightly custard-y in the center like a true Dutch Baby. We encourage your kid chefs decide how much cinnamon they want to add to their drink and use this opportunity to teach them about this amazing spice. Cinnamon regulates blood sugar and is anti-inflammatory and super for the immune system, which is so helpful now during cold/flu season. ENJOY this recipes, stay healthy, welcome back, and thank you so much for joining our Kids in the Kitchen! Classes...
